This guide provides step-by-step instructions to create your own build and play around RDK using the popular open source platform Raspberry Pi 4 as the target device. The document covers the host setup, build instructions , and flashing instructions to get your Raspberry Pi up and running with RDK.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Before you begin<\/h2>\n

If you prefer to use a pre-compiled image – so that you can proceed with flashing the image – please download a precompiled image for Raspberry Pi 4 from\u00a0here <\/a>and go to section flashing instructions<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

There are two supported methods for flashing the RDK build to an SD card\u2014one using a Linux environment and the other using a Windows environment. Please refer Raspberry Pi 4 RDK7 Release Notes#FlashingInstructions<\/a> for complete instructions.<\/p>\n
